Global Champion innovation award for FLIGBY simulation-based leadership classes representing the best in management education today

CEEMAN, the International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies, is an international association that joins more than 210 members from 54 countries around the globe. Launched in 2010, the annual Champions Awards recognize and promote outstanding achievements in the categories of teaching, research, institutional management, and responsible management education.

From the 2018 Global Champion nominations received from institutions in ten countries (Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Oman, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, and Ukraine), the evaluation committee has selected Dr. Zoltan Buzady, Corvinus Business School, Hungary, with FLIGBY in the category of Innovative Pedagogy.

CEEMAN Champion Award for Innovative Teaching with FLIGBY

Dr. Zoltan Buzady, head of FLIGBY’s Leadership & Flow Global Research Program, is Associate Professor of Leadership, and at both Corvinus University and at CEU Business School served as Faculty Director of MBA programs. Zoltan is an expert in participant-centered education and is the first person to have won twice the CEEMAN case competition awards. Guided by the motto “Learning, Leading, Leapfrogging”, Zoltan has a quarter-century of experimentation and innovation at the interface of Leadership, Cross-cultural People Management, and Organizational Strategy. Zoltan has been selected by Google as an official Google+Create member.

The official announcement of the winners and the award ceremony was taken place at the 26th CEEMAN Annual Conference award ceremony in Prague, the Czech Republic on September 21, 2018.

With a wide portfolio of programs and activities, CEEMAN aims to serve its members and partners in delivering content and programs that are important for management education institutions, such as the International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA), Program Management Seminar, Case Writing Competition, Annual Conference, Research Projects, and IQA-International Quality Accreditation.
